KKP Spasione Kocury were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Sielce Warszawa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcin Zagrobelny took the corner. With an all-out effort, KKP Spasione Kocury's André Onana threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boleslaw Polakowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Zurawski got free with André Onana in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
