The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Idar Istad. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daustad's goalkeeper Idar Istad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt got free with Idar Istad in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Christian Liknes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Tobias Bjørdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Kaland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gunter Roeckeloes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Idar Istad came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 28th minute. Daustad's Idar Istad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem-Alexander Vercauteren in the 31st minute of play. After 33 minutes, Tor Harstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daustad and the KFC Cromvelde players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Daustad getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tor Harstad hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Idar Istad was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Martin Rydland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Idar Istad came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Cromvelde's Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt. But to his dismay, Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Liknes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Idar Istad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Idar Istad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Idar Istad was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Martin Rydland got a free kick in the 61st minute. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt sped through Daustad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Idar Istad. Martin Rydland kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Idar Istad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt in the 70th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Idar Istad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Idar Istad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute KFC Cromvelde were awarded a corner. Tuur Gheysen went to the cornerflag to take it. Tuur Gheysen made a great header on KFC Cromvelde's corner, it was just that Daustad's Idar Istad managed to reach the ball for a save. Idar Istad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuur Gheysen in the 83rd minute of play. Idar Istad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the game, KFC Cromvelde's Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Idar Istad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. KFC Cromvelde's Quillian Cromefeldt was substituted for Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Martin Rydland got a free kick in the 93rd minute. KFC Cromvelde's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
