Denílson Negri started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiru Kuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Playa Malvín's Erasto Quizan got control of the ball when Denílson Negri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denílson Negri in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasto Quizan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Léo de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Vogrinčič in the 8th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Fantini. The audience was convinced that Enzo Vogrinčič's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Léo de Brito was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denílson Negri got free with Erasto Quizan in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when Floresta Club U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Léo de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Vogrinčič in the 26th minute of play. Isidoro Balcells kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Playa Malvín's Erasto Quizan got control of the ball when Dino Saraiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute Dino Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasto Quizan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Playa Malvín's Erasto Quizan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Baptista in the 41st minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gauargi Molleda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enzo Vogrinčič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Playa Malvín's Vitaly Laletin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guilherme Viana in the 77 minute of the game. Floresta Club U18 were furious when José Pedro Fantini was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 77th minute, one of Floresta Club U18:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Floresta Club U18. Léo de Brito had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Alberino Riesco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 81st minute, Guilherme Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo de Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Vogrinčič in the 82nd minute. Playa Malvín's Efren Domao got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Efren Domao off the ground. Efren Domao hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Alberino Riesco hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Eusébio Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Floresta Club U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Baptista couldn't finish the play. Floresta Club U18's Léo de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gauargi Molleda in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
