Spectators: 7678 (Terracing: 5759, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Christian Liknes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Idar Istad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 2nd minute of play. In the 15th minute, Sebastian Kvernmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Daustad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 18th minute, Mambru Entrala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palle Tazon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Idar Istad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Ermengol Cabrales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Ermengol Cabrales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Idar Istad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aldomiro Urioste kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ermengol Cabrales made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, CD Municipal's Idar Istad threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Palle Tazon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was a well-played corner which Ramón Gayday managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 57th minute Christian Liknes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlanda Zumiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CD Municipal's Orlanda Zumiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Kaland in the 58th minute of play. After 62 minutes, Roar Walberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daustad and the CD Municipal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roar Walberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermengol Cabrales got free with Idar Istad in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the game, Ermengol Cabrales recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Idar Istad. Ermengol Cabrales showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 68th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virila Parra to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Tom Dyrnes got a free kick in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Daustad's Idar Istad got control of the ball when Palle Tazon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tom Dyrnes charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Dyrnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tom Dyrnes hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute of the match, Arnulfo Camus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Idar Istad saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Kvernmo in the 84th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper Orlanda Zumiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peder Tveita hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermengol Cabrales got free with Idar Istad in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CD Municipal were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Daustad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aldomiro Urioste took the corner. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roar Walberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The CD Municipal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
