Karsten Hveding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 10th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Mambru Entrala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Municipal and the Daustad players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of CD Municipal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Daustad:s goal. The referee gave Daustad a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christian Liknes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CD Municipal's Orlanda Zumiel. 0-1. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daustad's goalkeeper Karsten Hveding, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palle Tazon to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the CD Municipal defense, Christian Liknes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlanda Zumiel. The CD Municipal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlanda Zumiel should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Sebastian Kvernmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Daustad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Karsten Hveding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Sebastian Kvernmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlanda Zumiel having to interfere.

Daustad's Karsten Hveding played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermengol Cabrales in the 51st minute of play. When Ermengol Cabrales came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the CD Municipal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermengol Cabrales couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the game, Peder Tveita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Daustad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Municipal the free kick. After 66 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Peder Tveita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermengol Cabrales in the 67th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Karsten Hveding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlanda Zumiel was a little too slow when Christian Liknes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-4. Karsten Hveding stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermengol Cabrales's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Daustad's Sebastian Kvernmo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Orlanda Zumiel. That made the score 0-5 after 74 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Tord Sundnes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Daustad walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
