The coaching staff of Winksele 2016 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thibaud Segers had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 14 minutes into the game, one of Winksele 2016:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Horea Hristea got a throw-in 19 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marius Turcu. Jozef Hemeleers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Hâncu in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Tâbârnă in the 21st minute of play forced Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Jozef Hemeleers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half FC PIETROSUL -MM- were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Tâbârnă to strike the kick off in the second half. Winksele 2016's Jozef Hemeleers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Winksele 2016 from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC PIETROSUL -MM- booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Burutzagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Marius Turcu from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Jozef Hemeleers's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Yanis Devriendt's late challenge caught a FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yanis Devriendt helped the player get up and apologised. Yanis Devriendt hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Winksele 2016's Jozef Hemeleers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Winksele 2016 from getting a goal against them. Jozef Hemeleers made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Octav Martinaș sent off a good shot on target. Octav Martinaș took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jozef Hemeleers. Jozef Hemeleers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 76th minute of the match, Octav Martinaș got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jozef Hemeleers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 80th match minute, Winksele 2016 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Burutzagi to maneuver through the defense. Marius Turcu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Jozef Hemeleers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC PIETROSUL -MM-. 82 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goal looked a bit too open when David Tâbârnă came free, but Jozef Hemeleers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Winksele 2016's Yanis Devriendt in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
