David Tâbârnă started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Wick in the 2nd minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Călin Izvoranu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute of the match Hurboc got a corner. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Werner van Dam ran over to the corner to take the kick. 5 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Rik came free, but Călin Izvoranu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vasile Hâncu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC PIETROSUL -MM- booed when Hurboc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Mikelats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anier Peruxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Tâbârnă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hurboc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Thomas came free, but Călin Izvoranu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Călin Izvoranu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Rik in the 41st minute of the match. Călin Izvoranu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Thomas in the 45th minute of play. FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Octav Martinaș replaced Vasile Hâncu. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Rik was the one to do the kick off. Anier Peruxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Martinaș in the 54th minute of the match. Octav Martinaș scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Peruxu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Călin Izvoranu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Iago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hurboc were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Werner van Dam took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Werner van Dam got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Călin Izvoranu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 60th minute Octav Martinaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Izvoranu made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Bernardo Rik sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Francisc Onete hit a great ball. Francisc Onete kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Leontin Tudorică hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Călin Izvoranu got control of the ball when Bernardo Rik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anier Peruxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Busuioceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octav Martinaș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
