An unexpectedly hard shot by Rostislav Sitarski in the 9th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Călin Izvoranu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Călin Izvoranu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Krotev in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Valentin Krotev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Izvoranu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Valentin Krotev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Izvoranu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Haralampi Kúrkelanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorin Busuioceanu in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Gercho Nenchovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Călin Izvoranu. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gercho Nenchovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Haralampi Kúrkelanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorin Busuioceanu in the 35th minute of play. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Haralampi Kúrkelanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save VN SOKOLI-VARNA from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Krotev in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Călin Izvoranu saved FC PIETROSUL -MM- from getting behind. Călin Izvoranu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Krotev, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Vihren Bozhanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Izvoranu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Dorin Busuioceanu scored to the left of an out of position Haralampi Kúrkelanov, making the score, 1-2. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VN SOKOLI-VARNA were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Tâbârnă to make the kick off. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Haralampi Kúrkelanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorin Busuioceanu in the 58th minute of play. Haralampi Kúrkelanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Busuioceanu in the 77th minute of play. Călin Izvoranu made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Valentin Krotev sent off a good shot on target. Haralampi Kúrkelanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octav Martinaș went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. If David Tâbârnă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Krotev's late challenge caught a FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Krotev helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Valentin Krotev got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Călin Izvoranu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vihren Bozhanov. The supporters of FC PIETROSUL -MM- booed when VN SOKOLI-VARNA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rostislav Sitarski didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Călin Izvoranu got control of the ball when Vihren Bozhanov tried to sneak it across the goal line.
