Vasile Hâncu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute Hamilton Luis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Izvoranu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Tâbârnă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Carlos Leclerc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jumeuc Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Falcão Soeiro hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, one of Jumeuc Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carlos Leclerc had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Marius Turcu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Călin Izvoranu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamilton Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC PIETROSUL -MM- booed when Jumeuc Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamilton Luis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Dorin Busuioceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Vasile Hâncu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Leontin Tudorică hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Carlos Leclerc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Tâbârnă in the 46th minute of play. Călin Izvoranu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Linhares in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Tâbârnă to make the kick off. Dorin Busuioceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Leclerc having to interfere. In the 70th minute Dorin Busuioceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Leclerc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jumeuc Futebol Clube's zone, Octav Martinaș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Leclerc came out of the goal and Octav Martinaș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Paranaense during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Octav Martinaș got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Leclerc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Busuioceanu in the 77th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Busuioceanu came free, but Carlos Leclerc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Tâbârnă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Carlos Leclerc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
