In the 23rd minute of the match, Primitivo Mikelats tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Călin Izvoranu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 29 minutes of play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Vasile Hâncu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Peruxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Dan Burdujan got a free kick in the 31st minute. The long shot by Leonardo Ritchie in the 32nd minute really tested Călin Izvoranu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Francisc Onete hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Călin Izvoranu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosme Thomas in the 36th minute. With an all-out effort, Hurboc's Călin Izvoranu threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from John Wick, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Octav Martinaș was substituted for Vasile Hâncu. David Tâbârnă kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Tâbârnă was the one to do the kick off. Anier Peruxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octav Martinaș in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorin Busuioceanu got free with Anier Peruxu in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anier Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorin Busuioceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. FC PIETROSUL -MM- were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Hurboc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marius Turcu took the corner. Hurboc made a substitution. Lorenzo Lico replaced Cosme Thomas. Călin Izvoranu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Fliz in the 82nd minute of play. Anier Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Tâbârnă in the 85th minute of play. Lorenzo Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Călin Izvoranu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hurboc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s performance. The match ended with a win for FC PIETROSUL -MM-.
