Jozef Hemeleers came out of the goal and Hamilton Luis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goal looked a bit too open when Hamilton Luis came free, but Jozef Hemeleers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Jumeuc Futebol Clube booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Eekhout didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Saldanha came free, but Jozef Hemeleers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Yanis Devriendt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Leclerc was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Fabricio Burutzagi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Leclerc having to make a save.
