Thiago Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ernest Obreja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Thiago Damião notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of UFC STEAUA's Ernest Obreja. Ernest Obreja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, UFC STEAUA's Ernest Obreja got control of the ball when Thiago Damião tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Damião had several of the UFC STEAUA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 9-0 score and a disappointed Ernest Obreja as he didn't even see the shot coming. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UFC STEAUA reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Damião in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Obreja saved UFC STEAUA from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Thiago Damião made a precise shot to the right of Ernest Obreja. UFC STEAUA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Thiago Damião scored 13-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Obreja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Damião in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Obreja saved UFC STEAUA from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Thiago Damião left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AF CERRADO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. Kaká Goiano scored 15-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Obreja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The AF CERRADO fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 16-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AF CERRADO had played much better football throughout.
