Wágner Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Melucci in the 22nd minute of the match. Lunatics of Arianrhod's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carter Basilico in the 23rd minute. Bob Dinamite's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Adriano Fracassi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 30th minute, Zico Matamoros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Bob Chute notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lunatics of Arianrhod's Adriano Fracassi. Adriano Fracassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Misericordia EC's Zico Matamoros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adriano Fracassi. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. After 46 minutes, Ettore Corvi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lunatics of Arianrhod and the Misericordia EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ettore Corvi hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davide Onori made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Amerigo Melucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunatics of Arianrhod's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amerigo Melucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bob Maravilha kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Adriano Fracassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Peres in the 58th minute of play. In the 65th minute Bob Dinamite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Fracassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Caruso. A collision led to Misericordia EC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Bob Maravilha hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Davide Onori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunatics of Arianrhod's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Onori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adriano Fracassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Dinamite's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The supporters of Misericordia EC booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Caruso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Fracassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Chute, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Matamoros in the 81st minute of play forced Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Adriano Fracassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Onori's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wágner Ribeiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Adriano Fracassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lunatics of Arianrhod players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Misericordia EC.
