Spectators: 7747 (Terracing: 5812, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thiago Damião took the kick off in the first half of the match. VB-Team's Osvaldo Vilaverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Damião in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Caeiro to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Caeiro got free with Sandrinho Sabóia in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Traian Hăvârneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Basílio Abraão hit a great ball. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jaime Corte-Real hit a great ball. Osvaldo Vilaverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Damião in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Thiago Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Osvaldo Vilaverde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, VB-Team's Luís Caeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sandrinho Sabóia. Sandrinho Sabóia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 29th minute, Jaime Corte-Real left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Sandrinho Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Corte-Real in the 31st minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Corte-Real came free, but Sandrinho Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Tomás Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Espinosa's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Espinosa helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 48 minutes, Thiago Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Traian Hăvârneanu to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Traian Hăvârneanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AF CERRADO's Sandrinho Sabóia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 54 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Damião. In the 60th minute, Joel Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Caeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Sandrinho Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AF CERRADO were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after VB-Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nestor Cordeiro took the corner. In the 71st match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Abraão to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes AF CERRADO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luís Caeiro who took care of the corner kick. After 76 minutes of play, AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Vilaverde was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Sandrinho Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Traian Hăvârneanu charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Traian Hăvârneanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Hăvârneanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Kaká Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Kaká Goiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AF CERRADO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Luís Caeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AF CERRADO's Sandrinho Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Caeiro in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandrinho Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Hăvârneanu in the 96th minute of play. In the 98th minute VB-Team were awarded a corner. Luís Caeiro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led VB-Team's Sandro Monteiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Sandrinho Sabóia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
