Luís Caeiro was slow to take the kick. During this time VB-Team's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luís Caeiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabien Lafont quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 9 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when George Gustafsson came free, but Osvaldo Vilaverde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Vilaverde came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Panopticon 04's George Gustafsson. But to his dismay, George Gustafsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fabien Lafont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Corte-Real in the 13th minute of play. Panopticon 04's Fabien Lafont proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Panopticon 04 from getting a goal against them. Osvaldo Vilaverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Luís Caeiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabien Lafont was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Tatomir in the 25th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Osvaldo Vilaverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Gilbert Brandt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Brandt in the 31st minute of play. Osvaldo Vilaverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Gustafsson in the 39th minute of the match. Luís Caeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Fabien Lafont made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Luís Caeiro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Panopticon 04's Fabien Lafont. Fabien Lafont was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiberiu Tatomir made a kick off. Osvaldo Vilaverde made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gilbert Brandt sent off a good shot on target. Tiberiu Tatomir kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Panopticon 04 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jan Vestlund hit a great ball. The supporters of Panopticon 04 booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Caeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. VB-Team's Osvaldo Vilaverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Tatomir in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Tiberiu Tatomir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panopticon 04's Fabien Lafont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Caeiro in the 68th minute of play. Fabien Lafont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Corte-Real, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabien Lafont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Corte-Real in the 72nd minute of play. Traian Hăvârneanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fabien Lafont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panopticon 04 were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after VB-Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. George Gustafsson took the corner. Diego Calçada kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Gilbert Brandt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Vilaverde made a huge save. Fabien Lafont showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Corte-Real, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Gustafsson got free with Osvaldo Vilaverde in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Gilbert Brandt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Vilaverde. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Vilaverde should have stopped the shot. Jaime Corte-Real received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fabien Lafont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
