Davide Onori started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Amedeo Baruffa hit a great ball. PHOENIX SC's Holin Probohudono got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Holin Probohudono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Davide Onori got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adriano Fracassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamarudin Simatupang in the 19th minute of play. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Adriano Fracassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aries Limbong in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermanno Di Franco during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PHOENIX SC booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Di Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kamarudin Simatupang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PHOENIX SC's Fathoni Birowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Melucci in the 26th minute of play. Fathoni Birowo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Onori, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 33 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Baruffa. Kamarudin Simatupang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adriano Fracassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Adriano Fracassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting a goal against them. After 42 minutes of play Lunatics of Arianrhod's Amedeo Baruffa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Amedeo Baruffa hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Holin Probohudono to strike the kick off in the second half. When Davide Onori came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Lunatics of Arianrhod fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davide Onori couldn't finish the play. Adriano Fracassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamarudin Simatupang in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kamarudin Simatupang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Fracassi was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Adriano Fracassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holin Probohudono, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Holin Probohudono kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Holin Probohudono came free, but Adriano Fracassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fortunato Raiola kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Kamarudin Simatupang notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lunatics of Arianrhod's Adriano Fracassi. Adriano Fracassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fathoni Birowo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Onori in the 72nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ettore Corvi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fathoni Birowo. That made the score 2-1 in the 75 minute of play. Kamarudin Simatupang hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The PHOENIX SC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when PHOENIX SC's Holin Probohudono looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aries Limbong in the 89th minute of play forced Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Adriano Fracassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, one of PHOENIX SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fathoni Birowo had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Carter Basilico's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
