An unexpectedly hard shot by George Gustafsson in the 20th minute of play forced GRÊMIO's goalkeeper Carlos Miguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Panopticon 04's Mark Vallin in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GRÊMIO's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Panopticon 04 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liu Feng Guang to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Gilbert Brandt rounded GRÊMIO's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. 57 minutes into the match, GRÊMIO's goal looked a bit too open when George Gustafsson came free, but Carlos Miguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabien Lafont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Terra in the 60th minute of the match. Carlos Miguel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilbert Brandt in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilbert Brandt in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Miguel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd match minute, GRÊMIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Gaeta to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, GRÊMIO's Carlos Miguel got control of the ball when Gilbert Brandt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Gustafsson got free with Carlos Miguel in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Miguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. GRÊMIO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tyson Touro in the 90th minute. Arí Terra was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 96th minute, Mark Vallin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panopticon 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Panopticon 04 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Panopticon 04 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
