After some careless play in the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA defense, Jerry Moerman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tautvydas Mickevičius. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tautvydas Mickevičius should have stopped the shot. FC Draconia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA the free kick. After 32 played minutes FC Draconia got a freekick which was hit by Alexandros Sgouros. In the 40th minute, André Monclús left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 43 minutes into the match, André Monclús notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FC Draconia's Uwe Nwachukwu. Uwe Nwachukwu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The FC Draconia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were winning 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Monclús to strike the kick off in the second half.
