Hermengildo Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Ribeiro having to interfere. Therkild Prendorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Gheorghe hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Bob Dinamite sped through UFC STEAUA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felix Cosoreanu. After having played for 42 minutes, Valério Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Misericordia EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valério Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Gheorghe kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Hermengildo Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Wágner Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bob Dinamite made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, UFC STEAUA's Therkild Prendorf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wágner Ribeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Valério Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Misericordia EC booed when UFC STEAUA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Therkild Prendorf didn't get a good kick on the ball. UFC STEAUA's Felix Cosoreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save UFC STEAUA from getting a goal against them. Enaut Ziguenza kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Misericordia EC got a corner. UFC STEAUA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bob Dinamite ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Valério Peres at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of UFC STEAUA. 0-3. Costică Mangra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Ribeiro having to interfere. After 70th play minutes Bob Dinamite shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Felix Cosoreanu and just under the crossbar into goal. Bob Dinamite took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Cosoreanu. Felix Cosoreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Bob Dinamite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Cosoreanu having to interfere. The supporters of UFC STEAUA booed when Misericordia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Maravilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Misericordia EC fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Misericordia EC's Bob Dinamite looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Misericordia EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
