Malte Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Miguel having to interfere. If George Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Brandt in the 26th minute of play forced GRÊMIO's goalkeeper Carlos Miguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liu Feng Guang to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, George Gustafsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panopticon 04 and the GRÊMIO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61stth minute of the game Gilbert Brandt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GRÊMIO's Carlos Miguel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilbert Brandt in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Miguel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute of the match Panopticon 04 got a corner. GRÊMIO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. George Gustafsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that George Gustafsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Miguel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 71st minute, Malte Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GRÊMIO's Carlos Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Dahlqvist in the 77th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Miguel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Miguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Brandt in the 91st minute of play. Gilbert Brandt struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Carlos Miguel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panopticon 04. Carlos Miguel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbert Brandt went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Panopticon 04 had won after a very even match.
