Kurniawan Bisri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaká Goiano charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaká Goiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. In the 31st minute, Thiago Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Holin Probohudono took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandrinho Sabóia. Sandrinho Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 41st minute Kaká Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurniawan Bisri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holin Probohudono in the 43rd minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Sandrinho Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Nestor Cordeiro in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PHOENIX SC's Ujo Haryanto Ie.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thiago Damião to make the kick off. Kurniawan Bisri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Damião in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when PHOENIX SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aries Limbong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurniawan Bisri having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Thiago Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thiago Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurniawan Bisri having to interfere. AF CERRADO's Sandrinho Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save AF CERRADO from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Damião came free, but Kurniawan Bisri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holin Probohudono's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Sandrinho Sabóia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in PHOENIX SC's zone, Kaká Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurniawan Bisri came out of the goal and Kaká Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd match minute, PHOENIX SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ujo Haryanto Ie to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes, AF CERRADO's Nestor Cordeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kurniawan Bisri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AF CERRADO reached it. In the 92nd match minute, PHOENIX SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bono Dion to maneuver through the defense. PHOENIX SC's Kurniawan Bisri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Damião in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to PHOENIX SC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Genta Durahman hit a great ball. AF CERRADO were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing PHOENIX SC to leave the ground with a draw.
