Mart Poom came out of the goal and Patanapong Xintarianos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mart Poom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liu Yang Cheng went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mart Poom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Crăiniceanu in the 32nd minute of the match. Vila's Mart Poom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patanapong Xintarianos in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patanapong Xintarianos in the 40th minute of play forced Vila's goalkeeper Mart Poom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mart Poom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Yang Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 46 played minutes Vila got a freekick which was hit by Aare Hovi. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patanapong Xintarianos to make the kick off. Pogromcy Flaków's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Octavian Crăiniceanu in the 54th minute. When Pogromcy Flaków's Patanapong Xintarianos in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Vila's Aare Hovi got a free kick in the 68th minute. Pogromcy Flaków's Remigiusz Ikalewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Vilberg in the 75th minute of play. Remigiusz Ikalewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lembit Nurmela in the 75th minute of play. Remigiusz Ikalewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lembit Nurmela's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Pogromcy Flaków's Remigiusz Ikalewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Vilberg in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patanapong Xintarianos in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mart Poom saved Vila from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patanapong Xintarianos got free with Mart Poom in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vila's Mart Poom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Vila from getting a goal against them. If Liu Yang Cheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pogromcy Flaków played a much better game than Vila and deserved their victory. The Vila players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
