Gregorio Fagildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Txerran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Diamante U18's Sergio Presebal suffered a sore thigh after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulises Azevedo during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Deportivo Diamante U18's Florentino Lico was substituted for Sergio Presebal. If Amador Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonides Dalmau kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Segundo Nuñez. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Gregorio Fagildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Remicio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, TALLERES DE CBA's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Dalmau came free, but Segundo Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Conrado Maiorga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Nuñez was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Segundo Nuñez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Maiorga in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Conrado Maiorga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Nuñez was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Gregorio Fagildo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Bonifacio Txerran sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, TALLERES DE CBA's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Maiorga came free, but Segundo Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Rafel in the 76th minute of play. Gregorio Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Tuste in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Conrado Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maximo Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TALLERES DE CBA's Segundo Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Maiorga in the 85th minute of play. Leonides Dalmau struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Segundo Nuñez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Diamante U18. 90 minutes into the game, Deportivo Diamante U18's Conrado Maiorga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Segundo Nuñez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Deportivo Diamante U18 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
