With a little luck, Gimnasia y tiro's Hilario Ubendu got control of the ball when Carson Sobezak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paz Gledden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Hilario Ubendu made a huge save. Downing Mueller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Miguel Arixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gimnasia y tiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Arixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Downing Mueller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Leeton United FC's Carson Sobezak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hilario Ubendu. Hilario Ubendu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a little luck, Gimnasia y tiro's Hilario Ubendu got control of the ball when Paz Gledden tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damaso Benvido during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute Carson Sobezak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Ubendu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paz Gledden in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Ubendu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro Aznaro's late challenge caught a Leeton United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Aznaro helped the player get up and apologised. Teodoro Aznaro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Leeton United FC got a freekick which was hit by Carson Sobezak. 71 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y tiro's Damaso Benvido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Downing Mueller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Brown Wilde fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeton United FC's protests and gave Brown Wilde a yellow card for diving instead. 82 minutes into the match, Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Downing Mueller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Mingo. After some careless play in the Gimnasia y tiro defense, Paz Gledden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Ubendu. The Gimnasia y tiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Ubendu should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute Blade Pincini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Ubendu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leeton United FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
