Montrel Blazquez hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Palmiro Picasso got free with Sebastian Saja in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Pau Nas Canelas's Mário Vilas Boas to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastian Saja despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Blas Burni kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Pau Nas Canelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avelino Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Cláudio Biaggio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Palmiro Picasso hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cuervos AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Xizavier Dacorrega hit a great ball. The supporters of Pau Nas Canelas booed when Cuervos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Martxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Saja was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Palmiro Picasso. In the 42nd match minute, Pau Nas Canelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Vilas Boas to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Cuervos AFC's Ismael Martxel tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute of the match, Palmiro Picasso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sebastian Saja was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
The wind increased when Cláudio Biaggio made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervos AFC's zone, Daniel Monsanto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Saja came out of the goal and Daniel Monsanto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the game, Pau Nas Canelas's Palmiro Picasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Saja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Blas Burni hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Sebastian Saja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Palmiro Picasso went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Lech Biraga's late challenge caught a Cuervos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lech Biraga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Lech Biraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Saja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Edinho Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sebastian Saja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pau Nas Canelas's Ludomir Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Biaggio came free, but Gentil Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cláudio Biaggio in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gentil Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the game, Pau Nas Canelas's Edinho Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Saja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pau Nas Canelas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cuervos AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
