After 6 played minutes Pau Nas Canelas got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Monsanto. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rahim Sidam in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gentil Miranda saved Pau Nas Canelas from getting behind. Bora Han Vahit was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th match minute, HORIZZONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bora Han Vahit to maneuver through the defense. Arif Babürşah was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Babürşah got free with Gentil Miranda in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when Christoph Haßelmann came free, but Rüştü Recber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palmiro Picasso in the 22nd minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Rüştü Recber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Palmiro Picasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüştü Recber. HORIZZONT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Palmiro Picasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 30th minute Palmiro Picasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Recber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd of the match, Tefik Kraja tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gentil Miranda got in the way and made a wonderful save. 46 minutes into the match, Christoph Haßelmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüştü Recber. HORIZZONT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christoph Haßelmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arif Babürşah made the kick off in the second half. Rüştü Recber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomir Barna in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes of play Pau Nas Canelas's Daniel Monsanto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 56 played minutes Pau Nas Canelas got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Monsanto. In the 57th minute Arif Babürşah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gentil Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to HORIZZONT getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ahmet Gökalp Cengel hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match Palmiro Picasso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rüştü Recber skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Pau Nas Canelas booed when HORIZZONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Gökalp Cengel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tefik Kraja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gentil Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avelino Tinoco hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Palmiro Picasso scored 0-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rüştü Recber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arif Babürşah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gentil Miranda having to interfere. HORIZZONT's Arif Babürşah got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pau Nas Canelas's Mário Vilas Boas pulled a muscle in his back after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Mirza Yazargil fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HORIZZONT's protests and gave Mirza Yazargil a yellow card for diving instead. Pau Nas Canelas made a substitution. Nuno Cordeiro replaced Mário Vilas Boas. Pau Nas Canelas were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over HORIZZONT's much stronger midfield.
