An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Maiorga in the 7th minute of play forced Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Gentil Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Palmiro Picasso in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Fagildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gentil Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Rafel in the 15th minute of play. Conrado Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gentil Miranda having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Dalmau came free, but Gentil Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Deportivo Diamante U18's Conrado Maiorga in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pau Nas Canelas's Gentil Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Maiorga in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Amador Rafel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Diamante U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Rafel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Diamante U18's Emiliano Maxin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Avelino Tinoco, made in the 75th minute of the game. Gentil Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Dalmau, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Gentil Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Dalmau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Maiorga took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gentil Miranda. Gentil Miranda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gregorio Fagildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Palmiro Picasso in the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Deportivo Diamante U18 defense, Ludomir Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Fagildo. The Deportivo Diamante U18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Fagildo should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Deportivo Diamante U18 were the better team. Deportivo Diamante U18's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
