In the 13th minute HORIZZONT were awarded a corner. Bora Han Vahit went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rahim Sidam in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilario Ubendu saved Gimnasia y tiro from getting behind. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gimnasia y tiro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bora Han Vahit was slow to take the kick. During this time HORIZZONT's players had a chance to rest. Hilario Ubendu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rahim Sidam's shot from short distance in the 20th minute.
