After 23 minutes of play, HORIZZONT's İlbey Çetinel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejo Pacorro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rüştü Recber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Matia in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes HORIZZONT got a freekick which was hit by Affan Tutkun. TALLERES DE CBA's Alejo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rahim Sidam in the 34th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Matia came free, but Rüştü Recber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, TALLERES DE CBA's Serafino Firme got a free kick in the 44th minute. Erkut Yatuk lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 46th match minute, HORIZZONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erkut Yatuk to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

With an all-out effort, HORIZZONT's Alejo Pacorro threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tefik Kraja, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in TALLERES DE CBA's zone, Tefik Kraja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Pacorro came out of the goal and Tefik Kraja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 minutes, Veysel Üner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HORIZZONT and the TALLERES DE CBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of HORIZZONT booed when TALLERES DE CBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
