When Froilan Montel fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Diamante U18's protests and gave Froilan Montel a yellow card for diving instead. Froilan Montel hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Maiorga got free with Clemente Hermes in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 played minutes Deportivo Diamante U18 got a freekick which was hit by Amador Rafel. In the 36th minute, Victor Valiente reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clemente Hermes. The goal made the score 2-0. 40 minutes into the game, Deportivo Diamante U18's Leonides Dalmau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Clemente Hermes was a little too slow when Leonides Dalmau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-0.

After having played for 52 minutes, Conrado Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Diamante U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Maiorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Gregorio Fagildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiano Ferraz. After a rather tough play, Romando Futebol Clube's Francisco Zonta got a free kick in the 58th minute. Deportivo Diamante U18's Gregorio Fagildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Ferraz in the 61st minute of play. Romando Futebol Clube's Guga Pinho got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Guga Pinho off the ground. After a rather tough play, Romando Futebol Clube's Guga Pinho got a free kick in the 64th minute. Conrado Maiorga scored 5-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Hermes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Leonides Dalmau put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Clemente Hermes.
