The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Everton Ribeiro during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by Everton Ribeiro. In the 5th minute Armando Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Capibaribe Stars's Manfredo de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Urki in the 8th minute of play. Adrian Dalmu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Capibaribe Stars's Danilo Teixeira in action when he in the 14th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Breno Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Manfredo de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Urki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manfredo de Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Urki in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Camargo came free, but Dong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cercadinho's Dong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Camargo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute Raimundo Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Botelho came free, but Dong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Camargo in the 31st minute of the match. Breno Esteves hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 37th match minute, Capibaribe Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Ferreira. Dong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Botelho in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Botelho in the 47th minute of play forced Cercadinho's goalkeeper Dong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Camargo was the one to do the kick off. Dong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeu da Silveira in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Everton Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manfredo de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Gagriel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Cercadinho's Dong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Cercadinho from getting a goal against them. Armando Botelho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dong firmly grabbed it by the left post. Niceto Gagriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Manfredo de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Gagriel came free, but Manfredo de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cercadinho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dito Tasso in the 70th minute. The corner ended in Dito Tasso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Capibaribe Stars's Manfredo de Souza did a great save. After 79 minutes of play, Cercadinho's Carolo Urki made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manfredo de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Capibaribe Stars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cercadinho:s goal. The referee gave Cercadinho a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dito Tasso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Capibaribe Stars's Manfredo de Souza. 3-0. Carolo Urki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Teixeira hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Niceto Gagriel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cercadinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Gagriel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfredo de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Niceto Gagriel came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cercadinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Gagriel couldn't finish the play. Manfredo de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Gagriel, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Adrian Dalmu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Serginho Koehler fired a really elegant long shot, but Dong threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Cercadinho walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
