Ermegildo Terciero in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dong, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Terciero in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Ricardinho Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Barto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 13 played minutes Sirius Dog got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Ciano. After some careless play in the Sirius Dog defense, Luís Guilherme Tasso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laureano Barto. The Sirius Dog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laureano Barto should have stopped the shot. Sirius Dog's Laureano Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Tasso in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Delmiro Goi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sirius Dog's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmiro Goi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Mesquita. Nando Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Laureano Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Guilherme Tasso took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Barto. Laureano Barto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Cercadinho's Dong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Terciero in the 39th minute of play. Dong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Terciero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cercadinho's zone, Delmiro Goi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dong came out of the goal and Delmiro Goi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Terciero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermegildo Terciero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Eguerdi in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dong saved Cercadinho from getting behind. Dong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Terciero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Goi in the 62nd minute of play forced Cercadinho's goalkeeper Dong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sirius Dog's Generoso Aresti got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Dong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Terciero in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Everton Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Terciero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cercadinho getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dito Tasso hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Terciero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Dong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Terciero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nando Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Generoso Aresti fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sirius Dog's protests and gave Generoso Aresti a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Sirius Dog got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Aresti. Chants of Cercadinho echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Sirius Dog had held the ball for most of the match.
