Randle Rutledge who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Benet Abaunza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Isadoro Abenda kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Benet Abaunza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bayern Boliviano's Benet Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Burton in the 65th minute of play. Rob Burton took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benet Abaunza. Benet Abaunza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Randle Rutledge might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benet Abaunza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Randle Rutledge ran back to his position shaking his head. Benet Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Randle Rutledge, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Manly FC made a substitution. Mister Yasin replaced Rob Burton. Mister Yasin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Benet Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Randle Rutledge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benet Abaunza was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Benet Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mourad Rocchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Manly FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
