Ralf-Willy Fürderer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ostots Abechuco in the 5th minute of play. Christian Demmel hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Onofre Abadia fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern Boliviano's protests and gave Onofre Abadia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BiBa booed when Bayern Boliviano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onofre Abadia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heiko Yuschni in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benet Abaunza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benet Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre-Yann Latocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Balasi Abechuco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bayern Boliviano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BiBa the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Bayern Boliviano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balasi Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johann Hesse got free with Benet Abaunza in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BiBa were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Bayern Boliviano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Steven Schuster took the corner. The corner led BiBa's Florian Tiede to fire away a dangerous shot which Benet Abaunza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bayern Boliviano's Balasi Abechuco got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Christian Demmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benet Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Johann Hesse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BiBa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johann Hesse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bayern Boliviano's Benet Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Demmel in the 39th minute of play. When Bayern Boliviano's Ostots Abechuco in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BiBa's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute Ostots Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf-Willy Fürderer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ostots Abechuco was the one to do the kick off. Onofre Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf-Willy Fürderer having to interfere. Johann Hesse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benet Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre-Yann Latocha in the 66th minute of play. Andre-Yann Latocha hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in BiBa's zone, Silviano Abellaneda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf-Willy Fürderer came out of the goal and Silviano Abellaneda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balasi Abechuco was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 74th minute, Balasi Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BiBa's Steven Schuster couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bayern Boliviano. After having played for 77 minutes, Andre-Yann Latocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BiBa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre-Yann Latocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After taking down the ball on Bayern Boliviano's corner Ostots Abechuco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ralf-Willy Fürderer quite easily take care of the ball. In the 95th match minute, Bayern Boliviano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ostots Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
