Spectators: 7859 (Terracing: 5895, Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christian Demmel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heiko Yuschni in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Ross prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the game, Bray Paull was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manly FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BiBa the free kick. A collision led to Manly FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bray Paull hit a great ball. Ralf-Willy Fürderer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Randle Rutledge in the 8th minute. In the 18th minute, Rob Burton made a precise shot to the right of Ralf-Willy Fürderer. BiBa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johann Hesse in the 21st minute of play forced Manly FC's goalkeeper Sydney Ross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sydney Ross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johann Hesse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BiBa's Ralf-Willy Fürderer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save BiBa from getting a goal against them. Rob Burton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ralf-Willy Fürderer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of BiBa booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rob Burton didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johann Hesse in the 43rd minute of play forced Manly FC's goalkeeper Sydney Ross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manly FC's Sydney Ross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johann Hesse in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rob Burton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, BiBa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Meier to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to BiBa getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mario Meier hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Mourad Rocchi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ralf-Willy Fürderer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Randle Rutledge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Randle Rutledge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralf-Willy Fürderer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Ulf Schilder shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The BiBa fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when BiBa's Ulf Schilder looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ralf-Willy Fürderer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randle Rutledge in the 70th minute of play. Manly FC made a substitution. Mister Yasin replaced Rob Burton. After 73 minutes BiBa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mourad Rocchi who took care of the corner kick. Sydney Ross made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andre-Yann Latocha in the 78th minute. Johann Hesse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ralf-Willy Fürderer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randle Rutledge in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, BiBa's Severin Katzer got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute Mister Yasin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf-Willy Fürderer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johann Hesse got free with Sydney Ross in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
