Ralf-Willy Fürderer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Burton in the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Randle Rutledge got free with Ralf-Willy Fürderer in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Randle Rutledge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manly FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Randle Rutledge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralf-Willy Fürderer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andre-Yann Latocha came free, but Artur Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
