The referee ignored Academia B.F.'s protests and gave Gustavo Martins a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Academia B.F.'s Gustavo Martins got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jaroslaw Domamir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johan Vollander. Despite this Johan Vollander quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Academia B.F. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Śląsk Bytom.
