Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Maciejewski in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Betonowy in the 43rd minute of play forced Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Roch Betonowy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Śląsk Bytom's supporters rose to their feet, but Roch Betonowy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Toldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the game, Napoleon Wietrzychowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Śląsk Bytom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resurrección Diabólica Ψ the free kick.
