Academia B.F.'s Johan Vollander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Academia B.F. from getting a goal against them. After 52 minutes, Wiliam Carioca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia B.F. and the DINAMO PLOIESTI players grew even worse after the yellow card. Johan Vollander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Bădulescu in the 93rd minute of play. The Academia B.F. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Academia B.F. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
