The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Haaland in the 10th minute of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chihuahua StrikerS™ reached it. A collision led to Chihuahua StrikerS™ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Flávio Perdigão hit a great ball. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Idalécio Rego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Chihuahua StrikerS™ from getting a goal against them. Idalécio Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Mendebal in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Pedro Haaland made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Francesco Toldo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Hélio Paião sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francesco Toldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severo Tono was the one to do the kick off.
