After a rather tough play, AC Civetta Notturna's Godfried Taverniers got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The supporters of AC Civetta Notturna booed when Nippur de Lagash 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo De Mitri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes, AC Civetta Notturna's Godfried Taverniers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan De Mitri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Civetta Notturna reached it. In the 9th minute, Benjamin Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goal looked a bit too open when Keno Dibra came free, but Jonathan De Mitri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keno Dibra scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan De Mitri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mark Evans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin De Mitri went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Benjamin De Mitri took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark Evans. Mark Evans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Benjamin De Mitri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Evans having to make a save. AC Civetta Notturna's Mark Evans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save AC Civetta Notturna from getting a goal against them. After 30 played minutes AC Civetta Notturna got a freekick which was hit by Godfried Taverniers. Benjamin De Mitri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Mark Evans skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Benjamin De Mitri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Evans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin De Mitri got free with Mark Evans in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benjamin De Mitri made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Nippur de Lagash 2 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ricardo Ihintza hit a great ball. Jonathan De Mitri made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Emanuele Corsi sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, Keno Dibra had to leave the field with a concussion. 57 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Gai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nippur de Lagash 2's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Civetta Notturna the free kick. AC Civetta Notturna's Bernardo Carbonaro was substituted for Keno Dibra. After a rather tough play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Leopoldo Gai got a free kick in the 58th minute. Nippur de Lagash 2's Virgilio Emenon was substituted for Ulises Isusko. Nippur de Lagash 2's Jonathan De Mitri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Corsi in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Nippur de Lagash 2 getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Benjamin Navarro hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zbigniew Arendarski during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benjamin De Mitri might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Evans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mark Evans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin De Mitri in the 86th minute of the match. Nippur de Lagash 2's Jonathan De Mitri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Carbonaro in the 88th minute of play. If Emanuele Corsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Jonathan De Mitri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Carbonaro. After a rather tough play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Benedicto Hondo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
