This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Sergio Gutierrez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marcelino Patxi's late challenge caught a ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelino Patxi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ booed when CERPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Patxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diómedes Rodriguez in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Ortzi saved CERPA from getting behind. If Thiago Almada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diómedes Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fabian Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Sergio Gutierrez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roald Høgås. Fabian Ortzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calito Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roald Høgås fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Gutierrez having to interfere. Severino Edwardo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sergio Gutierrez came out and tried to block the shot, but Severino Edwardo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 42nd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Sergio Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Edwardo in the 51st minute of play. Thiago Almada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Gutierrez having to interfere. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Lambis Kostopoulos was substituted for Calito Garcia. In the 59thth minute of the game José Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CERPA's Fabian Ortzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ booed when CERPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Asteri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Thiago Almada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s attentive Nelsinho Nóbrega managed to snatch the ball when Delmar Asteri made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s zone, Severino Edwardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Gutierrez came out of the goal and Severino Edwardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diómedes Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute, Octavio Salomon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Gutierrez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diómedes Rodriguez got free with Fabian Ortzi in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 85 played minutes CERPA got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Patxi. José Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Ortzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to CERPA getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Marcelino Patxi hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, José Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s supporters rose to their feet, but José Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Ortzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roald Høgås sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CERPA had played much better football throughout.
