Spectators: 7684 (Terracing: 5764, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Norbert Garland started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Benjamin De Mitri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Margarito Santana. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Margarito Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin De Mitri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Benjamin De Mitri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Margarito Santana. The goal made the score 2-0. Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin De Mitri got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nippur de Lagash 2's Ricardo Ihintza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cyril Cantrell, made in the 18th minute of the game. If Benedicto Hondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Benjamin De Mitri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Margarito Santana. That made the score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. Margarito Santana was a little too slow when Benjamin De Mitri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 4-0. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Benjamin De Mitri took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Margarito Santana to make any attempt to save it. In the 39th minute, Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin De Mitri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. 42 minutes into the game, Cyril Cantrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flames FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nippur de Lagash 2 the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyril Cantrell to maneuver through the defense. Jerrod Staples charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerrod Staples the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Flames FC's Cyril Cantrell got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin De Mitri was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Flames FC defense, Benjamin De Mitri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Margarito Santana. The Flames FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Margarito Santana should have stopped the shot. Flames FC made a substitution. Brady Block replaced Jerrod Staples. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin De Mitri in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Margarito Santana saved Flames FC from getting behind. Benjamin De Mitri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brady Block kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Benedicto Hondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nippur de Lagash 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Hondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Margarito Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Norbert Garland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan De Mitri was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Benedicto Hondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Margarito Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin De Mitri might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Margarito Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin De Mitri ran back to his position shaking his head. Margarito Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin De Mitri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Margarito Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin De Mitri in the 85th minute of the match. The throw-in from Cyril Cantrell in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nippur de Lagash 2's Osvaldo De Mitri. When the referee ended the match the Nippur de Lagash 2 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
