Bennis's Marcus Vase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Podgoreanu in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Cédric Payen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Karl-Johan Hammarström got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cain Velasquez in the 15th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Iordache Hirean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Georgescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cédric Payen in the 18th minute of play. Iordache Hirean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cain Velasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennis were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Minerul Baita -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valdemar Alin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Valdemar Alin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iordache Hirean quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Iordache Hirean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cain Velasquez's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cain Velasquez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iordache Hirean. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Alin to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Cain Velasquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Hirean was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Iordache Hirean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cain Velasquez went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Iordache Hirean made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Jan-Åke Hallgren sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Georgescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Åke Hallgren got free with Iordache Hirean in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Jan-Åke Hallgren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iordache Hirean. The goal made the score 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dudu Georgescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bennis getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Cain Velasquez hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, Bennis's Cain Velasquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iordache Hirean made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 69 minutes into the match, Cain Velasquez notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Minerul Baita -MM-'s Iordache Hirean. Iordache Hirean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Hammarström to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Johan Hammarström hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Iordache Hirean came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Bennis's Cain Velasquez. But to his dismay, Cain Velasquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Bogi Miner replaced Vintilă Puișoru. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Mons Vallestad was substituted for Rudolf Magnusson. 81 minutes into the match, Cain Velasquez notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Minerul Baita -MM-'s Iordache Hirean. Iordache Hirean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Xalo Camara replaced Cédric Payen. A collision led to Bennis getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jan-Åke Hallgren hit a great ball. Marcus Vase made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Dudu Georgescu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xalo Camara in the 95th minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Marcus Vase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xalo Camara in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Vase prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute Xalo Camara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Minerul Baita -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bennis.
