The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when FC Psihopel BM-MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Hăulică didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Codruț Podgoreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mustafa Birol Ortanca hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s Ovidiu Manciulea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iordache Hirean came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Psihopel BM-MM- reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Cornoiu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iordache Hirean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Manole Dascălu fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s protests and gave Manole Dascălu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Manole Dascălu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dudu Georgescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Alin Micescu made a huge save. Codruț Podgoreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Filip Cornoiu came free, but Iordache Hirean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irinel Șeicaru's late challenge caught a Minerul Baita -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irinel Șeicaru helped the player get up and apologised. Irinel Șeicaru hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A hard shot 31 in the game by Dudu Georgescu from a close distance when the talented Alin Micescu managed to make a qualified save. FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s players were relieved. Dudu Georgescu in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alin Micescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. During the 42nd minute of the match Manole Dascălu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Manole Dascălu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s Manole Dascălu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Dudu Georgescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Alin Micescu made a huge save. Alin Micescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cédric Payen in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dudu Georgescu was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Psihopel BM-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Irinel Șeicaru. After 52 played minutes, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Dudu Georgescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alin Micescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minerul Baita -MM- reached it. With an all-out effort, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s Iordache Hirean threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gheorghe Odobescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56th minute of the match FC Psihopel BM-MM- got a corner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ovidiu Manciulea ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s corner Ovidiu Manciulea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iordache Hirean quite easily take care of the ball. After 58 minutes of play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Dudu Georgescu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alin Micescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Minerul Baita -MM-'s Iordache Hirean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Cornoiu in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s zone, Dudu Georgescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alin Micescu came out of the goal and Dudu Georgescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Gheorghe Odobescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gheorghe Odobescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iordache Hirean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute Dudu Georgescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Micescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Georgescu came free, but Alin Micescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Cédric Payen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Bogi Miner replaced Vintilă Puișoru. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Mons Vallestad was substituted for Rudolf Magnusson. After some careless play in the FC Psihopel BM-MM- defense, Cédric Payen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alin Micescu. The FC Psihopel BM-MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alin Micescu should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute Xalo Camara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Micescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute Minerul Baita -MM- were awarded a corner. Dudu Georgescu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Dudu Georgescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alin Micescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gheorghe Odobescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mustafa Birol Ortanca kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Minerul Baita -MM-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
