After 39 played minutes Kranji Crunchy got a freekick which was hit by Salim Prastika. Godofredo Odilon might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rio Wahyudi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godofredo Odilon ran back to his position shaking his head. Clemente Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rio Wahyudi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Clemente Raymond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rio Wahyudi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emmanuel Komara made a kick off.
