Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martin Mangion kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Askestät in the 5th minute of play forced Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Severiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Savona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Algot Ennegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Kurt Askestät shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Severiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Martin Mangion tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Algot Ennegren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcelo Severiano came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Linghed Angels FC's Jörgen Magnusson. But to his dismay, Jörgen Magnusson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29th minute, Ryan Grima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Linghed Angels FC's Ingmar Barck got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 37th minute of the match Linghed Angels FC got a corner. Sliema Dragons FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kai Havertz ran over to the corner to take the kick.

Marcelo Severiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Martin Mangion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Ennegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Algot Ennegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mangion in the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Julian Savona notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Linghed Angels FC's Algot Ennegren. Algot Ennegren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Algot Ennegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Savona, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Marcelo Severiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt Askestät in the 68th minute. Ryan Grima might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Algot Ennegren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ryan Grima ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when Linghed Angels FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Kurt Askestät managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linghed Angels FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Askestät was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Severiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Marcelo Severiano managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Linghed Angels FC's Jörgen Magnusson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kurt Askestät could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Marcelo Severiano made a huge save. In the 87th minute of the match Kai Havertz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Severiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Lennart Lind took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Marcelo Severiano to make any attempt to save it. The Linghed Angels FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
