With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Dossena in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. After 32 minutes, Eraldo Motta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.S. Udinese and the forsal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to A.S. Udinese getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Eraldo Motta hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Di Cesare in the 34th minute of play forced forsal FC's goalkeeper Huang Hao Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fedele Onori kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Gigi Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Szpakowski in the 39th minute of play. Huang Hao Chuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilio Dossena's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Eraldo Motta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Huang Hao Chuan. The goal made the score 2-0. Filippo Di Leonardo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Christian Calabrese took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gigi Donnarumma. A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of forsal FC booed when A.S. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmine Bontempi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.S. In the 67th minute, Remigiusz Sowa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigi Donnarumma made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Claudio Mattioli sent off a good shot on target. Huang Hao Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Eraldo Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huang Hao Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes forsal FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Ubriaco. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Filippo Di Cesare managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S. Udinese's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo Di Cesare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huang Hao Chuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. forsal FC's Carmine Moretta was substituted for Cristiano Carlini. Ernesto Delle Donne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huang Hao Chuan having to interfere.
