The crowd rose to their feet as Dep. Moron's Dennis Bender slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gigi Donnarumma. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. After 13 minutes, Emilio Dossena made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Dep. Moron's Agustina Ortiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Remigiusz Sowa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Rickie Whitlock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dep. Moron's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickie Whitlock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigi Donnarumma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gigi Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noah Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Gigi Donnarumma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Bender. Rickie Whitlock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Gigi Donnarumma made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Dennis Bender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dep. Moron's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remigiusz Sowa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Remigiusz Sowa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agustina Ortiz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Michael-Peter Koenig replaced Ferenc Kocsis. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Dossena was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the game, Filippo Di Cesare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Udinese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dep. Moron the free kick. The supporters of Dep. Moron booed when A.S. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Di Cesare didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes A.S. Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Di Cesare. After 66 minutes Dep. Moron's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ernesto Delle Donne who took care of the corner kick. A.S. Udinese's Ernesto Delle Donne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agustina Ortiz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Eraldo Motta in the 86th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Agustina Ortiz kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippo Di Cesare got free with Agustina Ortiz in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agustina Ortiz was a little too slow when Ernesto Delle Donne got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 2-5. Chants of A.S. Udinese echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Dep. Moron had held the ball for most of the match.
