Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 155) BVB 09's Octavian Caragea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelo Severiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ogică, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When BVB 09's Lucrețiu Ogică in 6 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Marcelo Severiano guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The throw-in from Neil Deguara in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BVB 09's Basarab Iorgovan. Marcelo Severiano came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB 09's Octavian Caragea. But to his dismay, Octavian Caragea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcelo Severiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Caragea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mangion in the 12th minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Moritz Kran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Ogică came free, but Marcelo Severiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Ogică had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Severiano. Sliema Dragons FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucrețiu Ogică was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. BVB 09's Lucrețiu Ogică got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, BVB 09's Lucrețiu Ogică sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Severiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sliema Dragons FC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after BVB 09's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julian Savona took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Julian Savona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Moritz Kran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcelo Severiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Ogică in the 38th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, BVB 09's Lucrețiu Ogică made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Severiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The wind increased when Martin Mangion made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, BVB 09's Lucrețiu Ogică sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Severiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BVB 09's goalie prevented a goal. Lucrețiu Ogică in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcelo Severiano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 62nd minute, Lucrețiu Ogică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sliema Dragons FC's Marcelo Severiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Răduța in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Gigel Răduța had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Severiano. Sliema Dragons FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigel Răduța was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Moritz Kran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Savona in the 73rd minute of the match. Moritz Kran didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Neil Deguara charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neil Deguara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute Martin Mangion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moritz Kran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Neil Deguara in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BVB 09's Doru Balint. Doru Balint charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doru Balint the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Doru Balint got a free kick in the 85th minute. Marcelo Severiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ogică, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Moritz Kran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Grima, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes, Octavian Caragea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BVB 09 and the Sliema Dragons FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 94 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Grimaud came free, but Moritz Kran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sliema Dragons FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BVB 09's performance. The match ended with a win for BVB 09.
